• App Data: Your custom AAC boards, buttons, folders, and layout configurations are stored securely on Google Cloud (Firebase Firestore) so they can sync across your devices.
• Local Data: For offline use, your data is temporarily cached locally on your device's browser or app storage.

2. How We Use Your Information

We only use your data to:

• Provide the core functionality of the AAC application (syncing boards across devices).
• Authenticate you securely.
• Improve the stability and performance of the app.

3. Data Sharing and Disclosure

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. Your data is stored securely on Google Firebase servers. We will only disclose information if required by law or to protect the safety of our users.

SpeakSimple is designed to be used by individuals of all ages, including children, under the supervision of a parent, guardian, or caregiver. The account creation and syncing features are strictly intended for the caregiver managing the device. We do not knowingly collect personal identifying information directly from children under 13 without parental consent.
